Feb. 1 The Clairemont Woman’s Club is happy to be meeting on the (1st Wednesday) of the month from 1 - 3 pm in NPC youth room. The Clairemont Woman’s Club is one of the 18 Clubs in the Southern District. We are a znon-Profit Organization. We are active in the community. We Make donations of food, clothing, money to CCSA, eyeglasses, old telephones to have them cleaned and given to women to use to call 911 in case of emergency, UNICEF, March of Dimes, Goodwill, to name a few. Prior to Covid, we held a fundraiser each year. The two most recent fundraising projects provided funds to the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. We have a scholarship fund for girls graduating from high schools in the Clairemont area.
Darlene Smith and Sheila Mura are both members and are happy to answer any questions you may have. You are welcome to attend a meeting to learn about us before deciding to join the club. We are about 30 members currently. We also have a luncheon once a month somewhere in the Clairemont area to give us a chance to get to visit and get to know each other better.
