Gulf Coast Mission Trips - Rockport, Texas

Northminster joined forces in 2018 to help this community recover from when hurricane Harvey struck the Gulf Coast. Rockport is one of the coastal cities that was hit hardest by the storm’s 150 mile per hour winds. Clean up efforts have focused on removing debris from the wreckage. Rebuilding efforts have begun.

Pastor Jay Shirley of Northminster Presbyterian Church and its members participated in inter-generational mission trip to serve and provide spiritual encouragement to the hard hit area of Rockport.

Any skill level was welcomed. Exact projects were determined by the local partners and hosts at First Baptist Church of Rockport.
